MEXICO CITY (Dow Jones)--Unemployment in Mexico fell in December from a year earlier, and was also down from November in seasonally adjusted terms, the National Statistics Institute, or Inegi, said Thursday.

MEXICO CITY (Dow Jones)--Mexico's economic activity slowed in October, as agricultural output fell from a year earlier and industrial production grew at a modest pace, the National Statistics Institute, or Inegi, said Tuesday.

The November unemployment rate was higher by 0.38 points compared to the previous month, said the INEGI, Aguascalientes, Chihuahua and Tamaulipas were the states most affected by unemployment.
